I liked it

Very nice. A couple of early parts seemed to drag on a little, but I felt the change ups later on made up for them. Good work on this! review me back when you get a chance!

nice

I know this song is forever old, but I'm really needing relaxing music to drown out my horribly rude roomates late night tv habits, so I came looking on newgrounds. Great job on this and exactly what I was looking for. Keep it up!

Loved It

I especially enjoyed the subtle piano keys in the late part of the song, around 3:20. Your initial positive reviews on this here are what encouraged me to keep learning and making music, so thank you for that and for the heads up message for this song. Keep on rockin' OS.

You're definitely welcome!

Thanks for the review, lanky.

Hey I liked it

Voted 5, didn't help you score much though. I think this song would be a great basis for a random flash animation. The only thing is it ends a bit too soon and too abruptly. This could be longer, especially with that great electro melody you've got going. Still, good work overall. Keep on rockin'!

Liked It

Loved the combos you used. The only thing I would change in my OPINION (some people have gotten pissy about my advice on their songs >:[ ) is take the part between 0:34 and 0:51 and move it to about 1:23, or somewhere later in the song. It sounds more like a climax part of the song to me. I think if you let the slow start flow into that nice chime sounding piece that starts at 0:52 it'd sound great.

Keep on rockin' friend and review me back if you get a moment!

Thanks for the review! I'll take your suggestion and see how it works out. I couldn't make up my mind on how to get it started so i figured the wailing guitar part would be acceptable XD

EDIT/// I just checked out your song, Vengeance 2. I could learn many things from you haha. Good stuff!

Awesome

Gave me a run down futuristic city vibe. Great job, wouldn't change a thing! Review me back if you get a moment and keep on rockin'!

Good

I liked it a lot. One thing I would change: I would've liked to hear a deep bass (similar to what starts up at around 2:00) earlier on in the song. I think starting at like 1:25 with a couple of change ups in between would be cool. Also the ending bugged me (about 2:58), not because it was bad, but because it nicely set up another whole potential minute of music. You did say this was not the final version though. Keep on this one, there's more awesome potential here.

Review me back if you get a moment and keep on rockin' friend!

Superstrings responds:

wow you've just said exactly what I was going to change, the bass and extend the song I was just eager to put the song on

I'm glad you liked it a lot it motivates me to continue this song

-Edit-
I've made some changes you better check it out, there's still room for improvement so if you have any spare time and you comment on this version it won't be wasted time ;)

Good

I liked it a lot. However, I felt the beat could have used a change up halfway through. I think this is worthy of extending even farther, add another minute and increased tempo+a rocking climax beat in the final half I think would be awesome.

Also, this song reminds me of Battletoads for the NES.

Thanks for the review. I'm still learning to use FL Studio, but I'll try to make something better.

Really Good

Reminds of the video game Breath of Fire. Especially liked when the percussion came in.

samulis responds:

Thanks. :)

I liked it

Very simple and progressive. Perfect for the atmosphere of an epic tale. Review me back if you get a chance and keep on rockin'!

samulis responds:

Thanks. :)

I will be working on a number of other pieces including perhaps another 'epic tale' piece like this one.
